1. Lockdown &Idle Curiosity⋆✴︎˚｡⋆

Right after 12th, everything paused. The lockdown shut down the usual path forward, and my days blurred into a loop of games and anime. There was no structure, no urgency—just time.

One day, while scrolling YouTube, I stumbled upon a video from CodeWithHarry about skills to learn as a college student. Web development was one of them. That moment quietly changed everything.

2. First Steps intoDevelopment</>

I started learning from scratch—HTML, CSS, and then JavaScript. At the time, I didn’t distinguish between design and development. To me, building a webpage meant making it look good.

That confusion turned into curiosity.

I became obsessed with how things looked—spacing, colors, layouts—without formally knowing design. This naturally pushed me to explore design fundamentals alongside coding. Progress was slow, but the foundation was forming.

3. College &Deep Focus Phase𖡎

I enrolled in BSc Computer Science at Delhi University, but the first 1.5 years were still under lockdown—meaning more time at home, more time to build.

This phase was intense:

  • Built project after project
  • Explored backend, deployment, and performance
  • Developed a strong eye for layout and visual structure

Around this time, I also discovered DSA and practiced ~300 LeetCode problems. While it sharpened my problem-solving, I realized I didn’t enjoy it as much.

So I made a decision:

Double down on development.

4. Projects, Hackathons, Writing✎𓂃

I went all-in.

  • Built a large volume of projects
  • Participated in hackathons (and won multiple)
  • Started writing blogs
  • Improved not just coding, but product thinking and UX

This is where things started compounding—skills, taste, and speed.

5. FirstIndustry Exposure𖡊

My first internship was at an e-commerce startup, where I worked on migrating a Shopify website to Next.js.

In just two months, I learned:

  • Real-world constraints
  • User experience beyond visuals
  • Performance and production-level thinking

It was my first glimpse into how products actually get built and used.

6. Freelancing &Ownership♛

After the internship, I moved into freelancing.

The scope varied:

  • Small landing pages
  • Independent client projects
  • Leading frontend for a full matching app

This phase taught me ownership—handling ambiguity, making decisions, and shipping complete experiences.

7. Startups &Scaling Impact☄

I later joined a YC-backed startup, where the pace, expectations, and learning curve accelerated significantly.

Eventually, this led me to Delightree, where I continued working on:

  • Complex product surfaces
  • Scalable frontend systems
  • Interaction-heavy experiences

8. Where ItLed Me☘︎

What started as curiosity during lockdown turned into a clear direction.

I began as someone who just wanted things to “look good.”

Over time, that evolved into:

  • Strong design intuition
  • Deep frontend expertise
  • A focus on building polished, thoughtful user experiences
